The Alps are amazing.
But after a sweaty hike or bike ride all to be done is a big jump into a pool of water.
But unfortunately, the pools are packed in the mountain villages & the rivers are ice cold glacial rapids.
Luckily, someone engineered the construction of the lake in Bozel.
Somehow it's never busy, and I think Lac De Bozel is a bit of gem between the rocks.
C looking very Top of the Lake...
There's a nice little caf on the edge of the lake, serving lunch & beer.
And other good things, but those two are what you need after a hungry wild swim.
From the rocks we demonstrated to the small how to dive, and kept going until the sun went behind the clouds & too much lake water went in our eyes.
Beautiful photos. The mussels look incredible!

I've never been to the Alps except in late March - they're beautiful then but they look so much lovelier in your photos under the summer sunlight. You must have had the most lovely time :)
